About the base game:
Age of Mythology Retold is an updated version of the classic real-time strategy. Unlike other games in the series, it takes players to the land of legends, gods, and mythical creatures. The game features four diverse nations with unique buildings, units, and gods. You will command the Greek, Egytian, Norse, and Athlatean. The epic story mode, consisting of about 50 missions, will let you lead all four factions.

Age of Mythology Retold is a great game for newcomers and players who have already finished the original AoM. The long-time fans will enjoy better-balanced units and enhanced graphics. Microsoft also promised new content, including Arena of the Gods. This new game mode lets you tackle challenges alone or in cooperation. It's a thrilling addition to solo and multiplayer modes, which are already in the game.
