About the base game:

Gord is a strategy game with vast elements of the adventure, city-builder, and survival genres. The game is set in a dark fantasy world inspired by Slavic folklore. You'll assume the role of the leader of the Tribe of the Daw, and as a good ruler, you must take care of your people. Building and upgrading your settlement is only part of this task. You will have to go beyond your village's walls and face dangers hiding in the woods.

Building is just the beginning

In Gord, you will have to build and enhance your settlement. However, your subjects need more than new structures and strong palisades. You have to think of the well-being of each member of the tribe. Hunger and diseases are only the tip of the iceberg of factors affecting your people's sanity. Remember that your tribe is as strong as its weakest member. There are many ways to strengthen your community, even some that are out of this world. For instance, you may please the gods to gain their favor and unlock new abilities that help you defend your tribe or vanquish your foes.
