Since the roads surrounding Rattay are dangerous, Sir Radzig Kobyla has called upon an old friend, the dreaded mercenary gang led by the destitute but cunning Baron Kuno of Rychwald. Henry is dispatched by Radzig to lead the group across the area and control their ravenous hunger for trouble. As they patrol the province, they quickly learn that Radzig's long-ago adversaries have returned to settle scores.
