Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 is the long-awaited sequel to the critically acclaimed action-adventure game Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. This time, players will follow Senua to Viking Iceland, where the protagonist has to save the victim of tyranny.
Like the original Hellblade game, the sequel features a third-person perspective and requires solving puzzles and defeating enemies to progress. However, this time, many more people were involved in the development. As a result, Ninja Theory was able to improve many elements of the game. For instance, Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 features a changed and more realistic combat system. Of course, Senua has to fight not only physical foes but also to overcome her inner darkness.
Ninja Theory revealed Senua's Saga: Hellblade II in December 2019. The game is available on PC and Xbox Series S|X. In January 2024, the developer announced that the game would premiere on May 21, 2024.
