About the base game:

This franchise of fantasy role-playing video games by Bandai Namco Entertainment began in 1995 and currently, there are 17 main titles and multiple spin-offs of the game. Moreover, there are manga and anime series inspired by the franchise. The main themes in the Tales series are the current world issues,  coexistence between different races, and justice and faith all set in a fantasy world. 

Tales of Arise is the seventeenth main title of the series. This time, the player follows a story of two races from different worlds, the Renan and Dahnan people. Overcome the hardships and determine the fate of both worlds. Immerse yourself in this fantastically animated game. 

The divided worlds

The Rena people have been plundering Dahnan from its valuable resources for hundreds of years. Two protagonists from the opposing worlds, Alphen and Shionne, want to put an end to the oppression of the Dahnam people. Join them on their journey to growth and overcoming hardships through friendship and shared goals.

The diverse landscapes of Dahna change naturally depending on the time of the day. You can explore the rocky terrain, dive in rivers, light a fire and cook food, or fight the master of an alien planet. Use your fast reflexes, collect equipment, and develop your character. 

Liberate the people during epic battles! Combine powerful attacks with the members of your crew and use them against your enemy through the new Boost Strike system. You can make  Artes, Boost Attacks, and Boost Strike combos to defeat your enemy during fierce fights.
