The creators of the original System Shock were involved in the development of the new version. As a result, the remake remains faithful to the 1994 cult classic. The release

Nightdive Studios originally planned to release System Shock in 2017. Unfortunately, the developers had to postpone the premiere multiple times. The final date of the System Shock remake's release was set for May 30, 2023.
